Description
This beautiful handmade pottery bowl would make a great housewarming gift or present for that special person in your life! It was thrown on the pottery wheel with a dark brown stoneware and when it dried out a bit, I trimmed the bottom and applied a white underglaze to the rim. Then I carved the design through. This technique is called Sgraffito.
I glazed the inside a brilliant purple and left the outside unglazed.
The bowl is a medium size and would make a great salad, serving or pasta bowl. It is 10.5 inches wide and 4 inches tall.
