Description
This Bride of Frankenstein mug would be a great Valentines gift for someone who loves old horror movies and likes romantic horror.
It was handmade on the pottery wheel and decorated with a technique called sgraffito. I painted the entire mug with a black underglaze and carved out the design. I then filled in some of the details with more underglaze. The outside is glazed a matt clear over the black underglaze and the inside is an opaque red.
The mug holds 15oz of your favorite beverage. It is 3.5 inches tall and 6 inches wide with the handle. It has an ample handle and is a good weight in your hand.
Is dishwasher and microwave safe but because I throw thin, my pottery may be very hot after microwaving.
