Zwellyn Pottery & Friends

Zwellyn Pottery is expanding! Over the years it’s been difficult for me (Milly) to keep up with production while also working full time as a web developer. At the same time my best friend Mary Devou and my kids have been doing some really cool art in clay and other mediums. The result is that we are becoming more of a co-op or collective of artists instead of a single individual. It’s been really fun to work as a group and we hope you will consider us if you plan to buy gifts for the holidays.

Owner and creator Milly Welsh loves to apply a colored slip or underglaze to the pots and crave through them. It’s a technique that’s often referred to as sgraffito. Zwellyn Pottery is rugged and built for everyday use. Milly often makes mugs, bowls, platters, soap dishes, vases and more all carved with love!
