Description
This handmade speckled stoneware bowl would make a wonderful fruit bowl, salad bowl or serving bowl.
The bowl was handmade on the pottery wheel with a speckled stoneware. When it dried, I applied a strip of black underglaze to the outside and carved out a swirl design. This technique is often referred to as sgraffito. The inside of the pot is glazed a yellow that shows the speckles nicely.
The bowl is 10.5 inches wide and about 3.5 inches tall.
