Description
This small pottery bowl was handmade on the pottery wheel with a dark brown stoneware. When it dried out a bit, I applied a strip of white underglaze, then carved the design through. This technique is often referred to as Sgraffito. I glazed the inside a cosmic blue glaze that reminds me of a star filled night sky.
The bowl is quite small. It’s 4 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall.
