Description

This beautiful handmade sgraffito vase was made on the pottery wheel with a speckled clay body. When it dried out, I applied a black underglaze to the round outside of the pot and carved through a design. I’m very inspired by aboriginal art and that shows in the swirl carved design. The inside of the vase is glazed blue, and the outside has a light application of a matt glaze that really accentuates the sgraffito design.

The vase is 6.5 inches tall and 6 inches wide. It would make a wonderful flower vase or decoration to add to your home decor. Could also be used as a thoughtful Christmas present or house warming gift.
